News and Announcements
Langley Baseball has taken pride in all the great pins we’ve been able to supply the players over the years. We’re most proud of the Langley club pin we’ve use over the last few years but frankly we’re a little bored and out of great ideas. That’s where the kids come in!
We’re asking players to submit their great ideas for a new club pin to represent Langley Baseball. Make it fun, make it fashionable, make it simple, make it unique….it’s really up to you. Scan/e-mail your sketches, colorful masterpieces or even just written ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org. (Don’t forget to include your name and phone number.) The Langley Board of directors will vote on the best idea. The winner will receive a free pass for the 2017 regular season and the great pride of seeing their idea designed, manufactured and unveiled for next year’s new season of ball.
We can’t wait to see your great ideas! Contest will close September 31, 2016.
The winner will be contacted by phone and an announcement posted on our website by October 15th , 2016.
We can’t wait to see your great ideas!
(Please note the contest will be terminated if there’s a lack of suitable submissions)

Our U11 post season team recently returned from the Pacific Northwest Championships in Meridian Idaho. The boys did our club proud by placing 3rd out of 10 teams and caught a lot of US folks off guard with their excellent performance.
Quoting the tournament director himself :Well done Langley! We have never before seen a Canadian team do as well as you guys have done. You have shocked a lot of people." This after winning the 4th game to go 3 wins and 1 loss in the 4 game pool play.
From Coach Mike Whitmey:
“We also won our first game of the tournament in extra innings so we didn’t disappoint the parents watching with 2 really exciting battles. That game was a big comeback win as we were down early but the boys kept chipping away. We lost in the semi final to the host team that had ran the table in their pool, including beating the Whatcom Americans who were the favored team to win the tournament. We took 3rd as we had beaten the team on the other side in pool play that lost in the other semi final. The host team went on to be upset in the final to the team from South Oregon who gave us our only loss in pool play. We actually had a lot of base runners against the team that won the tournament when we lost to them but just left too many runners on. The boys, parents and coaches were all incredibly proud!”
A huge thank you to our coaches; Mike Whitmey, Tyler Watt and Brad Scott
Great Job Boys
